The Center’s white building, originally built as a home in 1910, has been refurbished as a counseling center with convenient parking lots on each side.

  Mission Statement
At the Interfaith Counseling Center, we believe the body, mind and spirit are interrelated.  Our aim therefore is to help strengthen the whole person.

There are periods in anyone’s life when things may come unraveled no matter how hard one struggles to hold them together.  Struggling too long in isolation may lead to more confusion and discouragement.  In such times, it is good to have someone available who can understand without judging and who can help reweave new patterns of life.  At the Interfaith Counseling Center, we believe the body, mind and spirit are interrelated.  Our aim therefore is to help strengthen the whole person by weaving these threads of life together.

What is Pastoral Counseling?
Pastoral Counseling is a unique form of counseling which uses spiritual resources as well as psychological understanding for healing and growth. It is provided by Pastoral Counselors who are not only mental health professionals but persons who have in-depth religious and theological training. Most pastoral counselors are ordained clergy or persons otherwise endorsed by a religious faith group.
